Above is an online makeup tutorial that we feel like we will be able to use in the trailer for our film. As our film is a thriller/action movie it is clear that there will be some action scenes that involves some punches being thrown. To show the effect of these punches we can use this online tutorial to create a black eye on one of our characters. This will be effective in our trailer as it will show our trailer is professional and also that we spent a lot of time sorting it out.

This is the mood board for our film. From this mood board you can see what the general story line is going to be. From the words that surround the mood board you can see that there is going to be plenty of chase scenes. Our film is going to be full of suspense because of the kidnapping of our main character. Our film is going to be a thriller/ action movie. The reason it is going to be a thriller movie is because of the suspense and tension that we are going to create and then it is also an action movie because of the fight scenes that are going to be included in our trailer. There is going to be a couple of weapons that are going to be in our film which is why the certificate is going to be a 15. There is going to be a baseball bat and a fake gun. Both these weapons are going to cause excitement and tension in the film.

Soundtrack Research Background Music- In our film trailer we will try and put in some background music within the scene. This is what most the thrillers have these days as it causes huge tension, it is used and is very effective within the film. Background music is used to add emotion and rhythm to a film. Usually not meant to be noticeable, it often provides a tone or an emotional attitude towards the story or the characters within the film. In addition background music foreshadows a change in mood. For example dissonant music may be used in film to indicate an approaching (but not yet visible) menace or disaster. This type of music is non diegetic music this is because it is music that the characters cannot hear.
